My previously planned feature for this past week fell through at the last minute, so I did a "wildly eclectic" (some bad mixes, some pretty good-- trying new combinations) free form show which was loosely tied together by three themes: rain, apocalypse (gawd help us), and the end of summer/beginning of fall (it aint over yet!).. hope you enjoy! : )

my father, painter Glenn Hamm, loved Ingmar Bergman's films because of his use of light and shadow.. as well as the surreal placement of symbols and contrasting characters in his movies...

How often do you get such a wide variety of styles in Indian music on the radio?? you've probably heard alot of Hindi music (often referred to as "Bollywood")--- so Im playing some Telugu film music (referred to as "Tollywood") and Tamil film songs too (called "Kollywood").... & I couldnt resist playing some cool Hindi "rock" from classic soundtracks too, so there'll be a little from each of these three languages/cultures/regions... India has hundreds of languages ..
