ART KARMA!!! AN ANNUAL SALE TO BENEFIT ART 180!!
ART 180's mission is to give "young people the chance to express themselves through art, to share their stories with others and to discover ways they can positively engage in and influence their surroundings." They are asking for "donated jewelry, scarves, ties, hats, belts, gloves,tiaras, purses, cuff links or any other personal accessories from amateur and professional designers and artists, retail merchants or
anyone willing to donate pieces for the ART KARMA sale on November 11 at Plant Zero, 7-10 p.m. Proceeds from the sale will be used to fund after-school programs in creative expression. Donations will be collected between now and November 4 at
ASTRA Design, 15 N. Belmont St., between Ellwood and Floyd avenues (Tues-Fri 10:30-6, Sat 10-5); ART 180 at Plant Zero, 0 E.4th St., Studio 56 (Mon-Fri 9-5); and Dransfield Jewelers, 1308 E.Cary St., in Shockoe Slip (Mon-Fri 10-6, Sat 10-5).
