Runa Laila - ( aka Superuna )

a Bangladeshi singer who became a favorite in India and Pakistan during the 60s and 70s and still tours to this day. There is something really special about her voice.. Im especially fond of her collaborations with Bappi Lahiri from the late 70s' early 80s, but also totally entranced by her traditional ghazals...

Here she is seen in her youth (and i must add, looking gorgeous) in what might possibly have been her TV debut (on Pakistani TV) doing a psychadelic pop song with lyrics that include the repeated exclamation "Oh NO!! " ( complete with those totally guroooovy zoom in-zoom out effects from the cameraman.. lol ) c-l-a-s-s-i-c
