Maharaja exhibit at the Virginia Museum of Fine Arts

A new exhibit has opened at the VMFA called "Maharaja: The Splendors of India's Great Kings". I was invited to DJ for two receptions this past week just prior to the official public opening, and I felt really lucky to be one of the first people to walk through the gallery.  This exhibit is astoundingly beautiful.  If you live in Richmond (or DC) you really need to make the trip to come see this exhibit.
Below: Photos from the Members preview parties held in the main hall of the VMFA.
Princess Asha Raje Gaekwad (pink saree) and Princess Pragyashree Raje Gaekwad (in blue and green) of the Rana family who ruled Nepal for 105 years speaking at the opening of the Maharaja exhibit.
